The Pantry purchases about two-thirds of the food distributed. Cash donations are a wonderful way to buy a lot of food for very little money. Most of the purchased food is bought from a food reservoir for as little as a dollar or two for a case of food. Donated dollars really help.

We also have projects that require special funding. Our current projects are:
Socks & Underwear
We receive a great deal of quality children’s clothing, but socks and underwear are basic necessities that are rarely donated. Monetary donations allow us to purchase in quantity.
Coats
Coats are donated throughout the year, but requests are particularly frequent in the fall, as the weather turns colder. In response, we have initiated a coat drive and distribution in the fall. We purchase about half the coats to assure that we have enough in all sizes. Donations to this project are greatly appreciated.
All donations are tax deductible.
