Growing Together Garden
At the Growing Together Garden, volunteers grow fresh fruit and veggies that are available for anyone to harvest and take home during our open garden times. Along with staple garden crops, we focus on growing highly-requested and culturally appropriate foods for the families who utilize the pantry’s services.
Our educational opportunities aim to empower neighbors to grow their own food, teach sustainable growing practices, and educate neighbors on food preservation. We offer a container gardening event each year where participants can take home a tomato or pepper plant of their own, as well as additional classes and events aimed at bringing the community together to share in the joy of gardening.

This week!
Open Garden Time
Garden with us!
Tuesdays 10 a.m. - noon
Thursdays 4 - 6 p.m.
join us this season!
Anyone can drop in on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon and Thursdays from 4 to 6 p.m. starting May 1, 2026, to help take care of the garden. Tasks will involve planting, weeding, pruning, harvesting, and more! Volunteers and visitors are encouraged to take home a share of the harvest.
No garden experience is needed, and tools will be provided. Garden volunteers are encouraged to wear proper clothing to protect themselves from sun damage and heat exhaustion. Sunscreen and water bottles are available during each Open Garden session.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Anne, our Special Projects Coordinator.
