September is Hunger Action Awareness Month.
This year the North Liberty Community Pantry is running a social media campaign to promote awareness about hunger in our own back yard.
To accomplish this we will regularly share statistics about hunger and encourage followers to make a pledge to take action and spread the word in their own communities.
In addition, we encourage staff and volunteers to wear orange on Thursday, September 13th as an awareness campaign for National Hunger Awareness Day.
