We had an amazing time at Taste & Tour on Wednesday, September 14 at the Pantry. It was a great evening full of garden tastes, kids activities, live music from Mission Bluegrass Band, tours of NLCP, and more! Thank you to our food vendors, Maggie’s Farm Wood-Fired Pizza, T.C. The Taste and Tour event started in 2015 as a way to celebrate and sample from our first year of the Growing Together Garden’s harvest. The event includes activities, fun for all ages, and foods prepared with ingredients from the garden.
The Growing Together Garden is designed to be a collaborative learning space for new and expert gardeners to educate one another and cultivate a community of neighbors helping neighbors. Through the garden, participants and volunteers learn about gardening, healthy cooking, produce preservation, and more.
