FAQ

How often can I come to the Pantry?

You can come as often as once in a calendar week.  You do not need to come on the same day each week.

How much food can I receive?

You can take as much as you need for the week. Only a few popular and expensive items (such as meat and toiletries) have limits on how much you can take.

Do you offer services other than food and clothing?

No, but we can refer you to other social service organizations in the area.

What if I can’t get to the pantry?

We do limited deliveries in the city of North Liberty for families with special needs, such as illness. Requests must be made by phone at least 24 hours in advance. Orders will be filled on Tuesday or Thursday afternoon.

Can someone else pick up my food for me?

You can ask someone else to pick up food for you, but they will need to take sacked food and cannot shop for you. You will also need to fill out a short permission form (available at the Pantry), so that we know they have permission from you.

Do I need to be a member of the church or attend services to receive items?

No, all community members are welcome to use the Pantry.

Are my records private and confidential?

Yes, all records are private and confidential and are not used for any other purpose.
