North Liberty Community Closet

NL Community Closet

The Community Closet is open!

The Closet offers a selection of in-season clothes and shoes and for all ages throughout the year. Winter outerwear is limited to our coat distribution event in the fall. Families in the Pantry’s service area can shop for five items of clothing per family member each month. Bundles with three pairs of socks and three pairs of underwear per person can also be picked up three times per year.

The Community Closet is located in the building west of the Pantry’s Growing Together Garden. It is generally open during regular weekday Pantry shopping hours:
Monday-Thursday from 10:00am – 12:00pm
Tuesday/Thursday from 3:00pm – 6:00pm

Clothing Donations

The Community Closet only accepts clean, smoke-free, clothing without stains, rips, holes, or broken buttons or zippers. Due to limited space, we can ONLY accept in-season clothing (currently winter and spring).

Volunteers are always needed to help sort clothing and serve families during open hours. If you are interested in helping, please reach out to Volunteer@northlibertycommunitypantry.org. Learn more about volunteering at the Pantry
