North Liberty Community Closet

NL Community Closet

The Closet offers a selection of in-season clothes and shoes and for all ages throughout the year. Winter outerwear is limited to our coat distribution event in the fall. Families in the Pantry’s service area can shop for five items of clothing, one pair of underwear, and one pair of socks per family member each month.

The Community Closet is located in the building west of the Pantry’s Growing Together Garden. It is generally open during regular weekday Pantry shopping hours:
Monday-Thursday from 9:30am – 12:00pm
Tuesday & Thursday from 3:30pm – 6:00pm

Saturday from 9:30am – 12:00 p.m.

Clothing Donations

The Community Closet only accepts clean, smoke-free, clothing without stains, rips, holes, or broken buttons or zippers. Due to limited space, we can ONLY accept in-season clothing (currently SPRING AND SUMMER). Winter coats are accepted all year–we are in special need of extended sizes for both children and adult.

Volunteers are always needed to help sort clothing and serve families during open hours. If you are interested in helping, please reach out to Volunteer@northlibertycommunitypantry.org. Learn more about volunteering at the Pantry
