Coat Distribution 2022

**Coats only available for NLCP Families**

If you are in the NLCP service area and did not receive a coat for your child during this year’s distribution, please reach out to your school’s Student & Family Resource Advocate for assistance in getting a coat for the winter.

Time:  During Pantry Shopping Hours

Monday: 10am-12pm
Tuesday: 10am-12pm, 3-6pm
Wednesday: 10am-12pm
Thursday: 10am-12pm, 3pm-6pm
Friday: Closed
Saturday: 10am-12pm

Location: First United Methodist Church
85 N Jones Blvd, North Liberty. Across the Parking lot from the North Liberty Community Pantry

Please Note: Face masks will be required to enter the coat distribution and must be worn the entire time while shopping. A limited number of individuals will be permitted to shop at one time. Children will not need to be present this year to receive a coat. Adults who received a coat last year may not be eligible this year.

Volunteers are greatly needed to help run this event smoothly! Sign up for a shift and share with a friend! No prior Pantry volunteer experience needed.

Donations of new and gently used coats and other winter wear items are being accepted now. Needed items include: coats, snow pants, hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, boots, and other winter outerwear items. Sizes infant to adult are needed. Please wash items before donating.

**Households outside of NLCP’s Service Area (including Iowa City or Coralville residents) may attend the coat distribution sponsored by the Consultation of Religious Communities to be held Wednesday-Saturday, October 19-22, at the Guidelink Center at 340 Southgate Avenue in Iowa City. Appointments are required for their distribution. Sign up for a shopping time here. **
